Kim Matthews
Founder/CEO

Before founding Preshure, Kim spent decades building and operating high-touch service businesses at the highest levels of discretion and reliability. He founded and ran a professional transportation company serving entertainers, athletes, and executives, and provided personal security for some of the most recognizable names in entertainment, sports, and business, work that demanded absolute discretion and zero margin for error.

Alongside that, Kim built a career across hospitality and food service few people could match: high-volume catering for major studio and network operations, ownership in a Zagat-ranked #1 Los Angeles restaurant, management of multiple retail food locations, and 15 years running hospitality and housing services in Maui, plus years providing housing for thousands of international students across Los Angeles and Arizona.

An entrepreneur at heart, Kim has built and operated ventures across nearly every corner of hospitality, from restaurant ownership and café partnerships to running his own catering company, always with the same instinct: find where people need to be taken care of, then do it better than anyone else. He's also spent over a decade designing grassroots community outreach campaigns for major national organizations, work that reflects the same relationship-first philosophy he brings to every business he touches.

That same relentless standard, get it right, be discreet, never cut corners, now shapes how Preshure treats every property, like it belongs to someone the world is watching. Founder of Preshure, a Los Angeles power washing company serving property management, HOA, and high-net-worth residential clients across Southern California, Kim has grown Preshure into a trusted name for commercial and residential exterior care.

Based between Los Angeles and Hawaii, Kim makes time each week for what matters most, including regular afternoons with his grandchildren. He's also deeply engaged in community-focused work.

Marc Malakie
Growth Partner/VP

Marc brings a unique combination to Preshure, the ability to translate complex value propositions into revenue-generating, commercially actionable partnerships, a skill honed across decades in entertainment, tech, cannabis, specialty ingredients, and global manufacturing.

He's opened doors with Fortune 500 manufacturers, secured national retail placements, and custom built a systematic outbound growth marketing engine that converts cold outreach into qualified partnerships in as little as 90 days. Now he's bringing that same approach to Preshure, helping property managers, HOAs, and commercial clients across Southern California get dependable exterior care.

Long before any of that, between 1990 and 1993, Marc founded and ran an independent record label and artist management company from his childhood bedroom at age 20, armed with nothing more than a phone, a pen, a blank address book, and a rubber stamp for the post office box. Leveraging the use of a local 24-hour Kinko's Copies, he built an unknown Sacramento band (with an unpronounceable name: Kai Kln) into a regional NorCal force, sharing stages with Primus, Green Day, Nirvana, and Deftones before any of them "made it big".

Along the way, he partnered with national publications like High Times, charted the band across the US on college radio, broke Gavin Convention records, supported NORML by advocating for hemp legalization, secured representation from legendary entertainment lawyer Brian Rohan, and was courted by a steady stream of major record labels after a blistering ASCAP showcase in LA. That same instinct, spotting what others often miss, creatively connecting the dots, and building the relationships to "make it happen, to deliver," has carried through every industry Marc's operated and succeeded in since.

During this time, he also organized a free, unannounced noon weekday concert on the steps of the historic Sacramento Memorial Auditorium to help save it from demolition, drawing local media, ~2,500 people while creating momentum that helped pass ballot Measure H, preserving the building (it still stands today). That same ambition and determination built the band into the first unsigned act in Sacramento history to sell out The Crest Theater, headlining their own independently released DIY CD release show in December 1992.

Marc's been a driving force behind numerous charitable efforts, from organizing cancer and stroke relief benefit concerts, to sold-out Joe Strummer tribute concerts benefiting the Strummerville New Music Foundation, one of which he produced as a concert film distributed internationally. Orchestrating those music events connected him directly with some of the biggest names in the industry, relationships built the same way he builds every partnership today, driving that same relationship-first approach to grow and scale Preshure.

Based in San Francisco, Marc attended American River and Sacramento City Colleges. Outside of work, he's an avid walker, home cook, lifelong learner, bird advocate, live music freak, and supporter of Everton FC.
